Our Programs

Building the cornerstone (Mathew 21:42)

Through genuine support from members, individuals and corporate institutions, and donors Jesus Refuge Orphanage Mission South Africa (JROMSA is able to give/ provide the programs below.

Care for orphans, and street kids

Children are the unwitting victims of poverty, civil upheaval, war and disease. An overwhelming number of children are abandoned, orphaned, abused and live on the streets of major cities. The care of orphans and street children is therefore among the primary concerns of JROMSA

Early Childhood development Centre

Life’s early years have a profound impact on a child’s future. When loved, nourished and cared for in safe and stimulating environments, children develop the skills they need to embrace opportunity and bounce back from adversity.

Skill Development, for the youths

Skill Development means developing yourself and your skill sets to add value for your own career development. At JROMSA we help the youth's of our community to develop different skills for thier future and that of the community.

Basic computers skills

As the country and the world at large is moving into technology driven future at JROMSA we try and equip under privileged families and kids with a basic computer skill program.

Care for HIV/AIDS victims and families

Millions of people are already HIV positive and many of them have developed full-blown AIDS. We look at support, treatment and care for people who are HIV positive and for their families. At JROMSA we care for these people by providing counselling, emotional support and financial support.

Counseling (VCT)

VCT stands for voluntary counselling and testing. VCT is when a person chooses to undergo HIV/AIDS counselling so that they can make an informed decision about whether to be tested for HIV.

Economic Development and women micro-grant

Assisting women with micro-grants so ladies may realize their own dream of opening a business and to provide a way out of trafficking and prostitution and also contribute to economic growth.

We are involved in standing against domestic violence, women abuse, human trafficking, rape and monitoring the implementation of international human rights standards in a local context.
